







The Picatinny Arsenal, located in northwest Morris County, New Jersey, is the home of the Armament Research, Development and Engineering Center of the United States Army. Home to over 3200 scientists, engineers and support staff, its highly skilled workforce develops new technologies to address the requirements of the modern Army and often adapts existing commercial technologies to the high-performance requirements of the military. As a part of its mission as a Federal Laboratory, Picatinny Arsenal supports the advancement of science through the transfer of government developed technologies to the private sector and networking with other technologists, especially those in fields of cutting edge technology through its office of Technology Transfer. For technical assistance in compatibility testing, or in the design and fabrication of prototypes, tenants in the Innovation Center can access the resources of Picatinny through a Cooperative Research & Development Agreement (CRADA).
Picatinny's real property and capital assets include a variety of specialized laboratories , facilities and equipment, suited to dealing with energetic and hazardous materials.
