  1. What kinds of technology are acceptable for admission?

    Picatinny is interested in a broad range of technologies, including all of the physical sciences, software, and manufacturing processes. The technology does not have to directly relate to the mission of the Arsenal.

  2. What is the mechanism to purchase services or partner with the Arsenal's scientists?

    The Arsenal has instituted a simple Cooperative Research and Development Agreement process which can be fully executed in a few weeks.The Agreement spells out in clear terms the obligations of both partners and is signed by all involved parties.

  3. What is the maximum amount of space a company can license?

    The Arsenal hasa number of buildings which are currently not in use and can be made available to interested companies.

  4. How long can I stay?

    The Innovation Center has a policy to graduate companies as
    soon as they are ready. Five years is the maximum.
  5. What environmental permits are required for hazardous waste emissions?

    If effluent/emissions of the company are of sufficient quantity to require a state permit for waste disposal, the company will be considered a separate waste generator and must seek its own discharge permits.

  6. Will the management of The Innovation Center assist me in securing the Arsenal as a customer for my product or service?

    The Cooperative Agreement required for admission is not a sales vehicle. Once at The Innovation Center, however, companies can be
    introduced to purchasing decision makers of the Arsenal.
